I know I havent written in forever! I have been busy!
Some updates!
I bred 5 girls for this coming spring. Most have reservations filled but there are still some doe reservations and LOTS of wethers reservations left
I have some pet quality does being bred, Polled and Blue eyes possible on both of them so lots of nice babies prices much cheaper because they wont be registered.
I decided to sell Courageous. I LOVE him to death but hes not getting used enough here. He had 1 girl this fall and my other boys have gotten 5 or more(from other farms) I feel bad so he should go somewhere where he can be used!
Oh I got a new buck LOL. His name is Titan, although he doesnt have super amazing lines, he has great confirmation plus he is black with moonspots and blue eyes! Cant wait to get some kids out of him.
I will be making a trip in May to Washington with my good friend Laura! OH ya I guess I should mention her a little LOL
So a couple months ago I met her online through her website and last month I went to meet her while I was in Placerville. WOW we were talking goats for hours and now we are great goat friends! She borrowed Jasper and also took Beverly to be bred to my favorite buck of hers, Max. Hes black with wattles and MAN I love him. Anyway shes planning to make a HUGE trip to washington in may and invited me! How can I say no? I cant wait! I will be meeting some awesome goat friends and bringing back goaties!
Me and Laura are also Co Owning a buck together! He will be born in March, stay tuned!
Well, I think thats it....for now! If you want to get up to date news "like" my farm page on facebook! I always update pretty fast on there!

Finally! After 4 years of waiting!!
Ever since I got into goats, actually before when I was just drooling, I always had a thing for Wattles! For those who DONT know what wattles are, they are little flabs of skin on a goats neck, usually 2 and the same size. Well they have always been an obsession to me! I think they are almost cuter than the goat!
Anyway, I have had TONS of trouble finding them here, because even though people own goats with wattles, doesnt mean the goat and her babies are going to be nice. I was feeling hopeless....:(
Then this march, I was looking on my goat group emails, theres not much that I respond too, but it was the friday market and everyone was advertising goats for sale everywhere! Its fun to see how other people market and talk about whos for sale, also gives me a chance to drool and wish I was rich so I could buy each nice goat LOL
Well, There was 1 email I saw that for some reason I felt I needed to read, weird since I barely read them, well when I clicked on it, it was a farm in Ohio so I thought why even bother? Then I saw 1 pic and....WATTLES! So I read on and sure enough this breeder had a wattle buck and had alot of his kids for sale who indeed had wattles! Oh and this buck wasnt just ANY BUCK, He was a Buttin Heads goat! The breeder of Buttin Heads was a GREAT breeder and unfortunately passed away so these lines were important to have! Not only was this boy amazing with his bloodlines, he was also a FINISHED CHAMPION in one registry! OK I was hooked! I looked at his girls and beautiful!
So I emailed the breeder and BEGGED her to see if she knew any transportation coming here, I couldnt afford shipping! Well she emailed me back and said she really wanted me to have a doe from her so she said she would work with me.
After all this.....I now am the PROUD owner of 2 lovely wattle does! These girls were flown in from Ohio last week and are doing great! They are 5 months old and are very dairy and colorful! One is a cute little chammy, and the other is a very flashy buckskin! They will most likely be bred this fall...
Well I thought the story would be nice! It was hard keeping it a secret, but in the end im SO grateful! If anyone would like this breeders contact info, let me know!
Thanks SOOOO MUCH Colleen, you have no idea how much this means to me

Havent been on in a while!
So, Im really sad I havent been on in forever! My original plan was to be able to go on as much as possible and write here all the time, of course that hasnt happened!
Havent had internet here in a couple months, so finally I am able to update!
Yesterday was Lotus's 1 year Birthday, she is doing so well and looks very nice!
All the goats seem to be doing well, we had a bad kidding year, but im trying to forget about that and focus on this years breedings! Im pretty excited about the pairings this fall, going to be some great pairs and we should have nice kids, if all goes well!
Well, hopefully I will update again soon :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASPER!!! :)
YEP thats right, today is Jaspers FIRST birthday! I cant believe it has been a year, he still seems like my baby boy, and sure does act like it!
Well, its a pretty interesting story on how I ended up getting this AMAZING buck, so I thought I would share it :)
In february of 2010, I went with my friend to go to Castle Rock farm, one of the best nigi farms in California, she was picking out her buck and told me that I should try and get one.
The end of February there were some babies, and a buck for sale, he was really cute, and polled, I thought, why not?? So I bought him. Well unfortunately it wasnt meant to be, he passed away when he was only a few weeks old, I was really sad, but knew that because this farm is so popular I really needed to go back and get another one before it was too late.
Well I went into the baby area, I was all alone, everyone else was getting some bottles ready, I saw this really cute little gold baby, I really wanted to hold it, so I put my hands out to hold her and all of a sudden this BIG buckskin boy jumped into my hands and demanded love, so since he was pretty cute I sat down and held him. He looked at me and BIT me! I was so mad, but as soon as that happened I fell in love, I knew it was meant to be, he fell asleep in my lap and I knew he was mine. It was like it was meant to be because when everyone came in they said he was the one for sale, I was so happy!
I got to take him home and bottle feed him, he was at my friends house but I would go over and feed him. I decided to call him Jasper, and it totally fits him! NO!! I didnt name him Jasper from twilight!! Jasper is also a Gemstone, and it fit into his theme!
Im so happy I have Jasper, he has turned out to be an amazing boy, at first he had the BIGGEST ears ive ever seen, I wanted to call him dumbo LOL but now hes grown into a very handsome boy, and so far his kids have been super dairy and very pretty!
I think Jasper is definently one of my favorite goats, and he sometimes gets more love than my girls, dont judge me! I dont care if he smells LOL
Well, heres a pic of him when he was a baby, dont make fun of his ears!! lol
Here he is now!! I love him :)

Baby Goat FEVER!!!
Ive been waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting....and waiting...and well....you get the idea!
Baby goat season is the best! Because you get to see all the immature Juniors become first time mommys, the bond is amazing. Plus who doesnt love cute little fluffy baby goats to play with? Those little cuties ALWAYS make me laugh.
Well, Jenny is supossed to be kidding soon....Im hoping she hurrys! Id very much like to have baby goats to play with.
Now that the goats are at the new place, I feel WAY better, less stress, because a GREAT AMAZING WONDERFUL friend has been watching them and checking on them. I trust her with my life, and my goats lives. They are safe, and I know everyone is getting pretty excited about having some baby goats.
I finally decided its time for me to have my own disbudder and try to do this on my own, people should take bets to see if I can actually do it HA! I also got a bunch of goat stuff, im pretty excited to try it all out, I doubt my goats will be though, some if it wont be fun for them! But im finally starting to do things on my own, and I like it. I HATE relying on people, not because I dont trust them but because I feel weird asking favors and expecting people to do things for me, so im slowly doing everything, and it feels good!
The weather is starting to get bad, SO maybe Jenny will kid soon? Ya....dont hold your breath.
Of course she is my Jenny, and I love her to death, I just PRAY she will be ok with kidding and raise her kids to be healthy little mini jennys!
Thats me and my BIG FAT PREGNANT GIRL JENNY!! She loves me :)

I decided its time to announce, since its happening tomorrow! We are moving to a new location, Oroville, cali!
The goats will have an awesome place to be, and im sooooo excited! I will still be coming to Elk Grove alot, visiting family and friends, so it is possible for me to bring goats with me, incase any of my old customers still want to buy goats from me
Thanks to everyone who bought goats from me, I love you guys, you have helped me so much, and I cherish all of you :)
On a side note, all the girls are getting very chubby, and Jenny is still holding out on those babies, hoping soon though!

We have some fatties on the farm!
See the pic below? Thats my Jenny, she was my VERY first goat, shes not registered, I got screwed over with her papers, but shes my favorite goat and shes going to die here, I would never sell her EVER! Anyway she is pregnant again, this is her last year.
Jenny is definently my little cow right now! Shes SO fat she cant even scratch her back haha. Shes alot bigger than last year, im actually a little worried at how many she has, especially since she has a couple months to go....But all I pray for is a healthy delivery with healthy little babies, I dont care about the sex, because shes my baby and I just want everything to be ok.
I plan to write a blog about each goat...Because each of them are special to me! Look for them in the coming weeks, unless I get too busy with worrying!
I just had to post this, How many babies ya think shes gonna pop out?? :)

Kidding Season....
Looks like Kidding season has started for alot of breeders, NOT for me though...Sadly I wont have any cute bouncy babies until May. I hate that I have to wait so long, but im happy all my goats are healthy. I added a new buck to my herd, and everyone has been really good....too good...I NEVER let my guard down because if I do for even a second, someone gets severly ill.
I have my 3 juniors, Adelle, Lotus, and Beverly, at a friends house right now. First off I dont want them bred, and second, im so paranoid they will get Cocci again. Of course my herd is clean, but I cant handle seeing my baby girls sick, so JUST to be sure, they are spending some time there, and of course my friend LOVES having them.
I havent been writing as much as I would like, Ive actually been pretty distracted. Im not currently at home, im staying at my dads for a while, taking care of him and seeing some friends that live here. I so wish I could just move here, I have people here that love me, and I dont think I can imagine not seeing them for months at a time, but who knows what the future holds for me, I dont really like making plans because they usually NEVER happen, I like to just go with the flow, whatever happens is fine, if it doesnt, at least I wont be dissapointed.
I do believe though, this time brings the worst of me out...I hate waiting, wondering, hoping....Its like a present or a suprise AHHHHHH. Of course I love presents and suprises, I just hate waiting lol, who does!
Baby goats are amazing, they make me so happy! I just love the attitude of a baby goat. All a baby cares about is her mommy, and who ever will play with her, which is usually me. I am always there to support the babies, letting them play on me and claim me as the prize! I also love the more calm ones who just want to sleep on your lap. And who doesnt just ADORE those cute little spaz jumps? I cant stop laughing when you have a little mini herd of babies doing the spazzy jumps, and then when the whole herd does it, its just the cutest thing! Not only do baby goats make the herd better, they also make all the adults be more childish, I see they babies come out of them, I love it.
If you have never played with a baby goat, you are really missing out, its one of the best feelings in the world, I promise! They are very loving, and also love to play. Of course this only qualifies for friendly babies, who are handled alot, mine have always been like this. There was one very evil exception, that would be my drama queen Callie, who is in my herd and currently pregnant. She was a mean baby, she didnt want a single human to TOUCH her. I dont give up on babies, but this girl was killing me. Everyday I would grab her and not let go, she always fought though, even her mom was looking at her like she was ashamed.
Finally one day, I walked over and looked at her, and she actually came over to me and jumped in my lap, I think her brother gave her a pep talk lol. She was very sweet for a while, I took her to the fair and she slept in my lap most of the time. Shes friendly now but it has to be her decision. Most babies though are very sweet.
Can you tell I want babies? UGH only, what? 4 more months? Lovely, im so happy I have to wait so long....
Well I will be going home soon and then I will probably write more, since I will be home!
